Andrew Frank Johnson, Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Andrew Frank Johnson Jr., age 74, will be held Friday, May 16, 2003 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Rev. Marcus Murphy and Rev. Archie Lee Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Newton Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mr. Johnson died May 13, 2003 at the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi. Mr. Johnson was an avid gardener and was a Baptized member of Little Creek Baptist Church near Epps. He was formerly associated with Starcraft Manufacturing Plant in Delhi. In addition to his listed family, Mr. Johnson is survived by his beloved pet, “Pooch”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Johnson Sr. and Mamie Bratton Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes Marie Johnson of Delhi; four sons, Steve Wayne Johnson of Clute, TX, Andrew M. Johnson and his wife, Jaunece of Delhi, Danny Lee Johnson of Delhi and Ronnie Monroe Johnson and his wife, Pam of Jennings, LA, two daughters, Joyce Dannehl and her husband, Donnie of Rayville, LA and Brenda Hernandez and her husband Richard, of Pflugerville, TX; a brother, Jessie D. Johnson of West Monroe, LA; a sister, Virginia Jones of Delhi; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Harrell, Lee Harrell, Gary Jones, James Bryant, Jason Rhodes and Gabino Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David R. Raines, Dr. Lester Johnson, Dr. J. K. Sehon and Dr. Krishna Kambhanpati.
