ANDREW J. M'CARTY DIES AT HOME HERE

Andrew J. McCarty, 86 years old, died shortly after noon Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lydia Allen, 1118 West Third. He had been ill about two weeks.

McCarty, a retired farmer, came to Tulsa 15 years ago from Commerce, Texas. He was a native of Missouri [sic Mississippi].

Survivors, besides the daughter, include three sons, Owen McCarty, Ervin McCarty and Dan McCarty, all of Tulsa; and four other daughters, Mrs. Jewell Humphrey and Mrs. Bertha Campbell, both of Tulsa, Mrs. Beulah Prock of Florence, Ariz., and Mrs. Tina Reynolds, Commerce, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Phoenix Avenue Church of Christ. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery under the direction of Tulsa Funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ulss Neighbors, C. P. Harrison, Ruben Witt, H. D. Humphrey, W. B. Burbage and C. R. Isaacs.
