A. J. McDaniel Dies at Home

Andrew Jackson McDaniel, 89, a resident of Amarillo since 1916, died this morning at his home, 107 Alabama.

Mrs. [sic Mr.] McDaniel was a retired employee of the Railway Express Agency.

He was born July 9, 1866, and was a Baptist.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna McDaniel, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. I. F. Settle, of Amarillo; two stepsons, Buster McGough of Inglewood, Calif., and F. B. McGough of Winslow, Ariz.; a brother, Isom McDaniel, of Comanche, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Jane Walker of Muskogee, Okla., Mrs. Ida [sic Lula] Thurman of Cisco, and Mrs. Ada Huntor [sic Hunton] of Santa Fe, N. M., nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements for funeral services will be announced by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.
