ANITA S. SMITH WOMACK,

63, Anderson, died April 18. She was a minister of Christian education at Park Place Church of God, Anderson, retiring in 1998. Previously, she taught at Park Place Nursery School and was director of its children's center. Mrs. Womack also was a director of Head Start and had worked for the Center for Public Service at Anderson College.

Services: 11 a.m. April 21 in Park Place Church of God.

Calling: April 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson.

Burial: East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Park Place Children's Center or the Joe K. and Anita S. Womack Endowed Fund at Anderson University, in care of the funeral service.

Survivors: husband Joe K. Womack; children Joanna Jamison, Paul Womack, Kathryn States; sisters Marie Riggs, Lorna Kardatzke; brother Alvin Smith; seven grandchildren.
