Anna B. Fitzhugh

Anna Ball Fitzhugh, of McComb, died of pneumonia Dec. 27, 1997, in Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today at Hartman Funeral Home, continuing there at 9 a.m. Monday until services at 11:30 a.m. in Hartman chapel. Dr. Jimmy Porter will officiate, and burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

Mrs. Fitzhugh was born May 10, 1921, in Lismore, La., the daughter of William B. Ball Sr. and Beatrice Grisham Ball.

A homemaker, she was a member of First Baptist Church of McComb.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Fitzhugh; two brothers, W.B. Ball Jr. and F.W. Ball; and one sister, Beatrice Hemphill.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann Boyd and Jimmy Don Boyd of Marrero, La.; one sister, Helen Lee of Jackson; two grandchildren, Steve Boyd and Kevin Boyd; and four great-grandchildren, Melissa, Katie, Melody and Shaye.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Chapman, Mack Brewer, Robert W. Brumfield, Richard Busby, Dr. Wendell Holmes and A.L. Payne.
