ANNA M. BYARS
Anna M. Byars, 99, of Memphis, passed away on December 1, 2012.
She was born near Fordyce, AR, on March 16, 1913. Mrs. Byars taught piano classes for 16 years and she was a faithful Sunday school for many years serving well into her 90s. She was a member of Audubon Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil J. Byars in 1987.
Mrs. Byars leaves her daughter Patricia B. Harrison (John); one granddaughter Stacy L. Brown (David); and two great grandsons, D.J. Brown and Daniel Brown.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to LaBelle Haven Baptist Church.
