LAST RITES FOR ANNABEL WHITTINGTON

Mrs. Annabel Robinson Whittington, 85, a resident of McComb Extended Care Center, died Thursday, December 4, 1986 in Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 1986 in the East Fork Baptist Church in Amite County, where she was a member. Rev. Maurice Wicker officiated. Burial was in the East Fork Cemetery.

Mrs. Whittington was born March 19, 1901, in Amite County, the daughter of Julian Robinson and Alice Spurlock Robinson. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Esco Whittington, and a son, Maxie Whittington.

Survivors include a son, Clyde Whittington, Magnolia; one daughter-in-law, Rovida Whittington, Bakersfield, Calif.; four brothers: Urey Robinson, Baton Rouge, J. B. Robinson, McComb, Emerson Robinson, Jackson and Hilton Robinson Texas; two sisters: Mrs. Maggie Truex, Mobile, Ala and Mrs. Cecile Lewis, Long Beach; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
