Mrs. Anne Finuf Stephens
LA GRANGE, KY - Mrs. Anne Finuf Stephens, 47, died at Tri-County Baptist Hospital on Monday, June 5, 1993. Visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home at 3631 Southern Avenue on Wednesday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend William Peeples of Broadmoor United Methodist Church will officiate, assisted by her uncle, Rev. James L. Stovall. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens was Vice President and General Manager of Interim Personnel Pool of Kentuckiana. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and a 1969 graduate of Centenary College. She also taught high school at C. E. Byrd where she was a Pep Squad Sponsor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Finuf, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Stephens; her mother, Evelyn Finuf of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Cpl. Everett J. Stephens of Bowling Green, KY and John C. Stephens of Galesburg, MS; two brothers, Michael Finuf, Sr. of Alexandria, VA, and Melvin “Buster” Finuf of El Dorado, Arkansas; two nieces, Melissa Finuf and Kristin Finuf; one nephew, Michael Finuf, Jr. and a close friend who cared for her, Carol Ann Lewis.
Pallbearers will be Carl M. Stephens, Harry B. Stephens, Sr., John Prince, Paul Prince, Robert Myers, and Michael Finuf, Jr.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Lung Transplant Program, Washington University Medical Center, Suite 3108, Queeny Tower, St. Louis, MO 63100.
