Annell F. Lofton
Annell Freeman Lofton, 77, of McCall Creek, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Southwest MS Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. Mrs. Lofton was born April 12, 1938 in Franklin County, MS to Amos and Monnie Rollins Freeman.
Visitation will be at Concord Baptist Church (Franklin County) on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue at Concord Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Bro. Matt Emfinger will be officiating the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) is in charge of the arrangements.
She was a retired medical clerk from King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She enjoyed gospel music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Monnie Rollins Freeman; husband, Ford Lofton; son, Clayton “Buster” Lofton; and sisters, Florell Freeman Cloy and Jonita Freeman Wallace.
Survivors are her granddaughter, Michelle Lofton; 3 great grandchildren; niece, Tammy Cloy Bradford and husband Jim; nephew, Timmy Cloy and wife Jennifer; cousins, Bobby G. Jackson and Chuck Jackson; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Ryan Comer, Jim Bradford, Bateman Stilley, Timmy Cloy, & Wayne Johnston.
