Annie Belle Dawson Crum

Annie Belle Dawson Crum, 91, of Petal, died there Jan. 20, 2002, at Bedford Care.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Methodist Protestant Church in Amite County near Gloster. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Crum was born Oct. 14, 1910, in Amite County. She was the daughter of Luther Cleveland Dawson and Allie Bateman Dawson.

She was a member of Monticello Methodist Protestant Church. Mrs. Crum was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tulley W. Crum; three brothers, Thomas J., Roddis H. and Willis F. Dawson; and three sisters, Lula Estelle Dawson, Elsie Marie Dawson and Tressie Dawson McKey.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris Mason of Petal, Leona and Kelly Brown of Gonzales, La., and Neta and Rosalio Casillas of Santa Monica, Calif.; six grandchildren, Susan Gibson Davis of Petal, Donna Jo Brown Blanchard and Ned K. Brown, both of Gonzales, and Virginia Ann "Gena" Casillas, Kim Casillas Pemberton and Kristina Casillas, all of Santa Monica; seven great-grandchildren, Steven Roy Davis and Melanie Davis Blanton, both of Petal, Bret and Chase Blanchard,and Danielle and Ory Brown, all of Gonzales, and Nathan Tulley Casillas of Santa Monica; two great-great-grandchildren, Bailey Drew Blanton and Jake Carson Blanton, both of Petal; four brothers, the Rev. Carlos Dawson of Quitman, Lamottis W. Dawson of Ethel, La., Loyd E. Dawson of Walls and Nelson L. Dawson of Liberty; and two sisters, Maxine Dawson Von Drasck of Walls and Florence Dawson Byrd of Petal.

Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
