She was a beloved wife, mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend to all she met. Her gift of giving to others could be seen daily in the sacrifices that she made. She was affectionately known as “Miss Annie” by many. She served the Lord daily and worshipped at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church where she was very active until her health began to fail. She had such great love for her family and always spoiled them with her southern cooking -- notably her chicken and dumplings.

She enjoyed shopping with her niece Wanda Craft, as well as having her “hen party” with friends Bonnie Nell Lewis and Joyce Dyess. But, above all she loved praising God and serving Him. The hospice nurses who took care of her in her final days shared how she would pray and never stopped praising God during her sickness. “Miss Annie” is now in heaven rejoicing with Jesus.
