Annie Elizabeth Hathorn, 81, of Laurel, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Laurel. The Revs. Mike Thompson and Jimmy Knight will officiate.
She was retired from South Central Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse and was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Lee Hathorn Jr.; mother and step-father, Ella and Truman Sellers; half brothers, Truman Sellers Jr., James Rayner, Woodrow Rayner and D.A. Rayner; and half sister, Grace White.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lee Hathorn of Laurel; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Etheridge and John A. Etheridge Sr. of Starkville; grandchildren and their spouses, John Allen Etheridge Jr. of Starkville, Charles Scott and April Etheridge of Montgomery, Ala., and Emily and Josh Christopher of Tupelo; two great-grandsons, Kade Etheridge and Sage Etheridge, both of Montgomery; and a brother, Robert R. Collins of Pensacola, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Odell Hathorn, B.L. Brooks, Ronnie Holifield, John A. Etheridge Sr., John Allen Etheridge Jr. and Charles Scott Etheridge.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
