Mrs. Anna L. Pickett

Mrs. Anna L. Pickett, 78, of Jackson died Friday at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Services are 2 p.m. today at Mountain Creek Baptist Church in the Mountain Creek community with burial in the church cemetery. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

A native of Florence and the Mountain Creek community, Mrs. Pickett had lived in the Jackson area for the past 15 years. She formerly had lived in Atlanta, and was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James S. Pickett; son, Paul P. Pickett of Wesson; daughters, Mrs. Ruby P. Thompson of Flowood and Mrs. Angelia R. Summers of Atlanta; sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lou Williams of Jackson and Mrs. Mary Louise Webb of Kenner La.; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
