ANNIE LORENE HURT
GANADO -- Annie Lorene Hurt, 86, of Ganado, died Tuesday, March 2, 1999.
She was born May 15, 1912, in Wharton County, to the late Isreal and Mary Elizabeth Hair Newport. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church and Home Demonstration Club.
Survivors: husband, Kenneth Roland Hurt; daughters, Mary Zikuhr and Paula Lorine Chapman, both of Ganado; son, Phillip Kenneth Hurt of Ganado; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: sisters, Flossie Newport and Lela Merle Fitzpatrick; and brothers, Mike Newport and Charlie Newport.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Ganado, the Revs. B.J. Hall and Tony Hines officiating.
Burial will be at Ganado Cemetery.
