Mrs. Hudson

A memorial service for Mrs. Annie Rhodine Hudson who passed away on Nov. 13, 2007 was held Feb. 2, 2008.

Mrs. Hudson was born April 23, 1932 in Morton, Miss., the daughter of the late Henry M. Phillips and the late Pearl Arnder [sic Arender] Phillips.

She was a legal secretary for several firms in the southeast and was also a former employee of Lockheed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Louis Hudson; three brothers, Plumer Phillips, Caley Phillips, and Sid Phillips; and three sisters, Helen Irby, Alma Goss and Mavis Hess.

Survivors include a son, Phillip Hudson of Rockmart; two sisters, Verda Mae Hudgins of Marietta and Erie Haynes of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and one granddaughter.

The memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. John Hooper officiating.

Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the memorial service.
