Annie Ruth Tarver

RAYVILLE - Services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Tarver, 62, of Start, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 22, 1993, in the Faith Baptist Church in Start with the Rev. Joel Parker officiating.

Burial followed in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Service of Rayville.

Mrs. Tarver died Saturday, March 20, 1993.

She was a nurse's aide and member of the Faith Baptist Church.

Mrs. Tarver was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Tarver; her father, Charles Allen; a brother, Clifford Allen; and grandson, Brad Jones.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Sally Allen of Start; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Roy and Brenda Tarver of Start, Chris and Cathy Tarver and Ray Tarver, all of Start; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Billy Bennett of Start and Peggy and Thomas Southall of Winnsboro; a brother, Hulen Allen of Start; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Parker and Mrs. Margie Herrington, both of Start; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Clinton Ray Berry, Michael Herrington, Larry Allen, Stanley Groan, Jack Smith and Rick Cromwell.
