Mrs. Annie Ruth Byars Kimbrell,

Mrs. Annie Ruth Byars Kimbrell, 71, died Wed., Feb 25, 1970 at her home in Pittsboro, MS. She had been in poor health for several years. She was the widow of E. A. ``Zeke'' Kimbrell, a former Sheriff of Calhoun County, MS, who died Apr 14, 1958. She was born in Calhoun County July 10, 1898 and had lived almost her entire life in Pittsboro and was a Baptist. She was the daughter of W. P. Byars and Mattie Johnson, both natives of Calhoun County.

She leaves 1 brother, Charley Byars of Memphis, TN and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be Friday at Pittsboro Baptist Church with Rev. S. E. O'Brian officiating and burial will be in Pittsboro Cemetery, with Pryor Funeral in charge.

Pallbearers are Hayden Martin, Lowell Malone, E. Q. Bullard, Louie Cozart, O. D. Hamblin, Johnnie Russell, Edgar Easley, Henry Davis, Jim Irby and Lonnie Patton.
