Mrs. Robert Alexander Robinson

Mrs. Robert Alexander Robinson, 76, widow of a Mississippi lumberman and civic leader, died Tuesday afternoon at her Metairie residence.

A native of Gloster, Miss., Mrs. Robinson had resided here for the past six years at 1316 Green Acres rd.

Her body will be taken to Gloster from the House of Bultman. Funeral services will be conducted from the Brown Funeral Home in that city at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Roselawn [sic Roseland] cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Gloster Community Club and the Gloster Country Club. She was active in philanthropic affairs.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Robert A. Robinson and William A. Robinson, both of New Orleans; a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Jay [Bordley], Bradley, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Harry Burke, New Orleans.
