CATES, ARLINGTON B., of Maplesville, AL passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn M. Cates; daughter, Patricia C. (Sam) Bennett; two sons, Robbie (Edith) Cates and Ronald (Susan) Cates; several step children; and a number of grand and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, from 5-8 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, at 2 PM at Southern Heritage Chapel. Interment will be in the Southern Heritage Cemetery.
