ARNOLD LARKIN SIKES JR.
A South Central Bell supervisor and resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday morning, Jan. 30, 1997, at a local hospital. He was 71 and a native of Winnfield. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Marvin Collins. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survived by wife, Irene Watts Sikes, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Dolores Lewis Holloway, Baton Rouge; a son, Edward Arnold Sikes, Baton Rouge; a brother, James Sikes, Winnfield; three grandchildren, Max Lewis and wife, Rhonda, Scotty Holloway and Amanda E. Sikes; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Lewis. He was a member of Park Forest Baptist Church
