Funeral services for A. J. McDonald Jr. 83 of Delhi will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday June 30, 2013 at Lamar Baptist Church with Rev.'s Pat Lofton and Jason Lupo officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Saturday at Lamar Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Lamar Community Cemetery.
A. J. was a Navy Veteran and retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Co. in Pine Bluff, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A. J. Mcdonald Sr. and Hazel (Quimby) McDonald and four sisters, Vada, Dot, Marcia Mae and Carolyn Sue.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Chapmna McDonald of Delhi, LA; a son Mickey Joe McDonald of Pine Bluff, AR; a grandson Joey McDonald of Benton, AR; three step daughters Anita Harvey of West Monroe, LA, Reba Albritton of Monroe, LA and Lori Chapman of Delhi, LA; a step son Steve Chapman of Delhi, LA and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe McDonald, Joey McDonald, Mickey McDonald, Lester Carter and Gary Berry.
