Aubrey L. Pepper

OLLA -- Funeral services for Aubrey L. Pepper, 51, of Olla, were at 2 p.m. today at the Chickasaw Free Methodist Church of Olla.

The Rev. Hardy Beauboeuf, the Rev. V. T. Bradford and the Rev. Emmett Belgard officiated with burial at Olla Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

He died Tuesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Pepper was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Free Methodist Church. He was a caterpillar operator.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rowena Pepper of Olla; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Lee Jackson, Miss Dorothy Sue Pepper, Miss Doris Rene Pepper, all of Olla, and Mrs. Sharon Ann Miley of Houston, Tex.; six sons, Raymond Pepper, Ralph Pepper, Sherman Pepper, Glen Pepper, Keith Pepper and Kim Pepper, all of Olla; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtis Woodard of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Rosalie Roberts of Crowville, Mrs. Lottie A. Frug, Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Ethel Crain of Kelly; three brothers, Joseph Pepper of Winnsboro, Loyd Pepper of Pineville and Elvis Pepper of Houston, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Izene Pepper of Kelly; and three grandchildren.
