GUICE, AUDIE ROLLINS ``BETTY''

A retired nurse and resident of St. Amant for six years, she died at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2004, at her residence. She was 88 and a native of Gloster, Miss.

Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, from noon until religious service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Dr. Wayne Barnes. Interment in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary.

Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Cecil Tanner, St. Amant; three sisters, Leola Whittington and Mary Lula Whittington, both of Livingston, and Pauline Reeves, Gloster; a brother, Judd Rollins, Gloster; three grandchildren, Justin Tanner, Natalie Tanner and Lisa Guice; and two great-grandchildren, Quentin Fontenot and Nicholas Guice.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Guice; son, Robert E. Guice; mother, Mary Alice Rollins; father, Emmit Rollins; brothers, Carl, Mann and Street Rollins; and sisters, Neva Whittington and Nina Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Van Lambert, Justin Tanner, Kenny Whittington and Leon Whittington.

Zachary was her home for more than 50 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Zachary and loved the Lord with all her soul.
