Audrey McDonald

Audrey McDonald, 92, of Englewood, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 1987.

She was born on July 17, 1895 in Calumet, Ok. In 1918 she graduated from Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Ok. and received her Bachelor of Science from Central State University in Edmond, Ok.

On July 9, 1921, she married Clarence Randle McDonald, M.D. in Oklahoma City, Ok. He predeceased her in 1948.

Mrs. McDonald was a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star; a member of the White Shrine; Ladies Auxilliary Volunteer at Park View Hospital in El Reno, Ok.; Retired Teacher's Association; Oklahoma Education Association; the Oklahoma Democratic Party and a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dixie Wilkerson, of Englewood, Colorado; and Mrs. Lois Gatlin of Laurel, MD; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters.

Services were held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa, Ok., on Monday, September 14, at 2:00 p.m. and entombment was in the Rose Hill Mausoleum in Tulsa, Ok.
