Audrey Mae Kennedy Brown

Graveside services for Mrs. Audrey Mae Kennedy Brown, 88, of Minden, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at Christ Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Ramsey officiating, assisted by the Rev. Dwayne Butler and the Rev. Joel Holmes.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., today, March 13.

Mrs. Brown was born in Harrisonburg and died March 11, in Minden.

She is preceded in death by husbands, Bartley James Kennedy and Calvin A. Brown, two sons, one daughter and four grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald Kennedy and wife Mary of N. Little Rock, Ark., and John Kennedy and wife Jean of Haughton; two daughters, Mary Billingsley and husband Coil of North Carolina and Fannie Blackstock of Haughton; two sisters, Annie Laura White and husband Virgil of Bastrop and Rosalee Jones and husband Albert of Bastrop; one brother, R.J. McDonald of Bastrop; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Nathanael Kennedy, James Kennedy, James Blackstock, Roy Kennedy, Brian Billingsley and Tony Fuller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bartley Kennedy and Thomas Billingsley.
