Mrs. Clarence Drummond

FERRIDAY, La. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence Drummond, 51, of Ferriday were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Young Funeral home, with Rev. C. E. Pickens and Rev. Floyd Whitesol officiating. Burial was to be in Greenlawn Memorial cemetery at Natchez, Miss.

Mrs. Drummond died Tuesday morning in a Natchez hospital after a long illness. She had been a resident of Ferriday for 35 years and was a native of Catahoula parish.

Survivors are her husband, Clarence Drummond of Ferriday; one son, Dan Drummond of Ferriday; six daughters, Mrs. Ruby Lee Green of Fordyce, Ark., Mrs. Ruth Crane of Monterey, Mrs. Billie Jean Gilbert of Bussace, France, Mrs. Nora Ann Montgomery of Fayette, Miss., Mrs. Audie Marie Wilson and Miss Doris Drummond, both of Ferriday; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Stanley of Brookhaven, Miss., and Mrs. Doris Dungan [sic Duncan] of Baton Rouge, and four brothers, C. W. Watson of Ferriday, Wolf and Gus Watson, both of Foules, and Harold Watson of Enterprise.
