Augusta Elois Davidson Girod
March 11, 1923 - April 25, 2003

A native of Oakman, AL and a resident of Mobile since 1948 died at the family residence at the age of 80. She was a faithful member of the Creekwood Church of Christ. She was an employee of Brookley Field for 17 years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Russell Girod; a son, Wayne (Lanette) Girod of Vancleave, MS; four daughters, Teresa Abril of Nashville, TN, Marcelle (Robert) Perry of Mobile, Denise Killcrease of Picayune, MS and Beth Girod of Mobile; brothers and sisters, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 27, 2003 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2003 from Creekwood Church of Christ at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 710 W. 168th St., New York, NY 10032.
