A. B. KROHN

After a few weeks [illegible] illness of typhoid fever, A. B. Krohn died at his home on Magnolia Highway, a mile south of Wiggins, at two o'clock Tuesday, July 14th, 1925. Mr. Krohn has been unconscious during most of his illness and died in a seemingly sweet sleep. He was born in Harrison County, now Stone County, October 11th, 1861 and although not an old man, had lived to a good age. He married his wife, who was Zaney Williams, Feb. 14th 1886 and she survives him with their children, six boys and four girls, L. B. and Lorain A. Krohn of Wiggins, R. M. and J. E. of Taft, Calif., H. R. of Lyman, H. J. Krohn of Douglas, Ariz., Mrs. Lee Jones, Silver Run, Mrs. Wm. Morris, Birmingham, Letha and Lema Krohn, who are at home.

Mr. Krohn was a Christian gentleman, and lived to rear a fine family of men and women under his good influence. He was an inspiration to his family and friends with his quiet unassuming ways and gentleness of manner, and the loved ones with the friends will miss the counsel of his ways.

Besides his wife and children he leaves an aged mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Krohn, who live near Biloxi, many grandchildren and a large connection of kinspeople.

The funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev. G. W. Boyd Wednesady [sic Wednesday] afternoon, after which the funeral cortege moved on to Magnolia Cemetary [sic Cemetery] in Wiggins where he sleeps beneath a mound of beautiful floral offerings, the last tribute of respect from this highly respected man's loved ones, kinspeople and friends.

The Enterprise extends sympathy to the sorrowing family of the deceased.
