A. McDANIEL FUNERAL

Funeral services for Augustus McDaniel, 69, were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Wiggins Methodist Church with interment in Davis Cemetery at Magnolia. Rev. William Fulgham, pastor of the Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. N. J. Lee and Rev. J. A. Davis of the Baptist churches, conducted the services.

Mr. McDaniel died at his home Monday following a nine month's illness. Besides his wife, Mrs. Emma Bodie McDaniel, he is survived by one son, Hershel McDaniel of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Roland Miles and Mrs. Fred Pressly of Wiggins; three brothers, J. C. McDaniel, Lucedale, Jim McDaniel, New Iberia, La., and Oce McDaniel, Laurel; and six sisters, Mrs. W. W. Baucum, Miss Betty McDaniel, Mrs. Molly Theologas, Mrs. Nan Blacklege, all of Laurel; Mrs. Byrd Blackman, Picayune, Mrs. Lucy Dolan, Bay Springs.

Pallbearers were Dewey Taylor, Bob Watts, B. T. Price, Rodolph O'Neal, Wayne Mabry, and H. C. Hall.
