Austin [sic Auston] Wilson

The funeral of Auston B. (Curley) Wilson, 57, of 3909 Blank St., Monroe, were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, in the Memorial United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Lea Joyner and the Rev. E.J. Lofton officiating.

Burial was in the Columbia Hill Cemetery in Columbia under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Wilson died Tuesday in St. Francis Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was an auto superintendent for Northeast Louisiana University.

His wife, the late Georgia Thornhill of Columbia, preceded him in death last year.

Survivors include his two sons, Tommy Wilson of Monroe and Skip Wilson of West Monroe; one brother, Ralph Wilson of Morgan City; and three granddaughters.
