BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Mrs. Avanell B. Warner, 66, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 28, 1996 in Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. C.I. Johnson, pastor of Ye Olde Faith Baptist Church, assisted by Dr. Damon Vaughn, pastor of Airline Baptist Church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Warner passed away Saturday, October 26, 1996 at Bossier Medical Center after a short illness. She was a resident of Bossier City, LA and a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ben T. Warner; father, J.E. Brooks, Sr., both of Bossier City, LA and her children, Ben T. Warner, Jr. of Bossier City, LA, Mary Margaret Haymaker-Parker and husband, Jim of Shreveport, LA, Travis E. Warner and wife, Cheryl of Bossier City, LA, Debbie Barber and husband, Daryl "Red" of Duluth, GA and Gary L. Warner of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; two brothers, J.E. Brooks, Jr. of Shreveport, LA and Randy E. Brooks of Snellville, GA and a host of relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be David Eason, Jim Parker, Daryl Barber, Vince Maggio, Randy Smith and Mike Joyner. Honorary pallbearers will be John Santoro and Calvin Joyner.
