BIG SPRING (RNS) - B.T. Chrane, 66, of Big Spring died at 6:45 p.m. Friday in Big Spring Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home Chapel.
Jerry Yarbrough, minister of the 14th and Main Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will [be] in Trin[i]ty Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born Sept. 25, 1909, he attended Abilene public schools and was a stock farmer in the Abilene area until 1941. In 1942 he moved to Big Spring, where he was associated with his brother, L.D. Chrane, in the operation of dental laboratories there and in Odessa.
In 1947 he sold his interest in the dental laboratories and enrolled in the Texas Chiropractic College where he was graduated in 1951. He then practiced in Abilene for five years before returning to Big Spring as a certified dental technician. He married Betty Christian Dec. 24, 1959.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bill of Big Spring and Bob of Houston; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Dalton of Big Spring; a brother, L.D. Chrane; a sister, Curtise Chrane of Abilene; a half-brother, U.S. Pilley of Abilene; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Chrane, Kenny Chrane, Billy Chrane, Tommy Chrane, Chuck Chrane and Steve Chrane.
