Barbara Ann Valentine Collins

Age 74, she passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Manila, Philippines, and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Her joys in life were her family and her beautiful flower beds.

She is survived by two sons, Billy J. Collins Jr. and wife Judy, and Wiley A. Collins; two daughters, Tricia C. Davis and husband Donovan, and Paula I. Collins; a sister, Katherine Belle Kleinpeter and husband Albert; a brother, James Valentine and wife Judy; grandchildren, Jessica, Brian and Jamie Collins, Ashley and Amy Collins, Jacqueline “YAMI” Manuel, and Christine and John Davis; and great-grandchildren, Beau Collins, Soryn and Sylvan Collins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Collins Sr.; brother, Henry B. “Sonny” Valentine Jr.; and parents, Henry Valentine Sr. and Isabel Camara Valentine.

Visiting at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2025 Stuart Ave., on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Deacon Jack Jung. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Billy J. Collins Jr., Wiley A. Collins, Donovan Davis, John Davis and Brian Collins.
