Funeral Services For Mrs. B[e]adie Barfield Held Sunday, Dec. 17

Funeral services for Mrs. B[e]adie Barfield of near Ideal, were conducted from the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church in Taylor County, Sunday afternoon, December 17. The Rev. Mr. Childree officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Barfield, who was 72 years of age, passed away at a Montezuma hospital Friday night after a short illness. Born in Taylor County on September 9, 1878, the daughter of the late Owen and Martha Johnson [sic Arminda Taunton] Barfield, the deceased was the wife of the late Mood J. Barfield and made her home with her sons, T. B. & G. C. Barfield near Ideal. Survivors include her two sons, one daughter, Mrs. Grady Flowers of Ideal; a sister, [illegible].
