BALL FUNERAL TO BE HELD FRIDAY

Jacksonian Succumbs to Stroke of Apo[p]lexy; Relatives at Bedside

Final rites for Mrs. W. B. Ball, 47, who succumbed at her home, 516 North [J]efferson street Thursday morning, will be held from the Galloway Memorial Methodist church Friday morning at 10 o'clock with Dr. L. L. Cowen, pastor of the church officiating.

Stricken with apoplexy last Saturday relatives and friends were called to her bedside early in the week and were present when the end came. She leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing.

She is survived by her husband, W. B. Ball and three children, W. B. Ball, Jr., Beatrice Ball, Annie Gibbs Ball, all of Jackson; two brothers, W. D. Grisham, Ft. Worth, Texas, and L. M. Grisham, Grace; three sisters, Miss Geneva Grisham, St. Joseph, La., Mrs. Fred Sandford, Ft. Worth, Texas; and Mrs. James K. Walton, McClure, Illinois; two step-children, Mrs. Walter Lee, of Jackson, and F. W. Ball, Yazoo City.

Active pallbearers will be: E. L. Johnson, Ed Johnson, Perry Hemphill, Frank Lemly, J. D. Slater, J. S. Day, Roy Givens, R. W. Howell.

Interment will be in Cedarlawn cemetery with Tom E. Taylor Funeral home in charge.
