Hilton Rites Set At Hickory Ridge

Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from Hickory Ridge Baptist Church for Mrs. Bee Hilton of Route 3 Florence, who died Tuesday at the Baptist Hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Hilton, a native of Leake County, had lived in Rankin County for the past ten years and was an active member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Harvey Hilton of Route 3, Florence; one daughter, Mrs. W. G. Germany of Jackson, one son, Phillip Ray Hilton, Florence, five sisters, Mrs. Syble Steen of Florence, Mrs. Miller Watkins, Mrs. Roger Allen and Mrs. Ruby White, all of Carthage, and Mrs. Clint Rogers [sic Allen] of Louisville, three brothers, Hollis Taylor of Odessa, Tex., Wallace Taylor, Huntsville, Ala., and Leon Taylor of Pelahatchie, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Rex Hauth, Rev. Robert Jones and Rev. Jim Shanahan. Interment will be in the Smith Cemetery with Baldwin Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers will be J. P. Sandifer, Wilson Laird, Henry Steen, L. E. Mathews, Casper Pierce, and Albert Hemphill.
