Beatrice Turner Middleton, 88, of Jackson died Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at Whispering Pines Hospice in Jackson, of heart failure.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jones County. Dr. Kermit McGregor and Chaplain Arleen Rosner-Barwick will officiate.
She was a longtime resident of Laurel and Ellisville before moving in 1991 to live with her daughter, Roberta, and family in Clinton. She was a member of Second Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Middleton, and parents, Blantford and Sally Turner.
She is survived by four daughters, Anna Lee Bishop of Lafayette, La., Eddie Bell Jackson of San Diego, Calif., Estelle Adamo of Rosenberg, Texas and Roberta Overstreet of Clinton; two sisters, Cornell Love and Juanita Lynch of Nashville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Whispering Pines Hospice in Jackson.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
