Belinda Emmons
Belinda Emmons, 50, died at 6:10 p.m. at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was a resident of Franklinton and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Emmons is survived by her husband, Cleve Slaven of Franklinton; two sons, Nicky Emmons of Franklinton and Ricky (Sonya) Emmons of Lafayette; a daughter, Melinda (Terry) Stafford of Slidell; three grandchildren: Dillon Stafford, Jared Stafford and John Paul Emmons; two brothers, David (Cindy) Emmons of Slidell and Lee (Grace) Emmons of Broussard; a sister, Connie (H.F.) Erwin of Tylertown, Miss.
Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stan Statham officiating. Burial followed in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
