GRENADA -- Funeral services for Belinda Faye Huffman Jackson, 36, of Grenada will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Wilson & Knight Chape in Greenwood.
Mrs. Jackson, a loving daughter, sister and wife, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at her residence in Grenada. She was a child support enforcement officer.
Mrs. Jackson was born on Sept. 27, 1970, to Wilbert and Ruby (Ashmore) Huffman Jr. She graduated high school from Walker High School in Walker, La., in 1988.
Mrs. Jackson received a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice at Mississippi College in 1991 and a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice at Northeast Louisiana University in 1992.
She was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
Mrs. Jackson worked at Support Enforcement Agency in Baton Rouge from 1992 to 1999.
She was employed at Vancleave Insurance Agency in Indianola from 2000 to 2004.
She is survived by a husband, Ward N. Jackson Jr. of Grenada; father, Wilbert R. Huffman Jr., and mother, Ruby V. Ashmore Huffman, of Walker, La.; sister, and brother-in-law, Alisa V. and Lance J. Parent of Prairieville, La.; two nephews, Austin J. and and Collin R. Parent of Prairieville.
Mrs. Jackson was preceeded in death by grandparents Wilbert R. Huffman Sr., Florence Huff Huffman, James D. Ashmore and Noliy Townsend Ashmore.
Officiating minister will be Bro. Mike Hegwood.
Burial will Saturday in Longview Cemetery in Carrollton.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.
