JONESVILLE, La. -- Services for Belle Morris, 60, of Jonesville, La., who died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Alexandria, will be at 2 p.m. today at Good Road Pentecostal Church with Rev. Brian Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in the Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Visitation is until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Morris was born July 11, 1940, in Clayton, the daughter of Daniel and Gertie Franklin. She was a homemaker and a member of Good Road Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Morris; a brother, Bobby Franklin; and her parents.
Survivors include five sons and their wives, Robert Earl and Carol Morris, Randy ``Cookie'' Morris, Billy and Latricia Morris, Bobby and Tina Morris and Jackie Morris, all of Jonesville; a daughter and her husband, Helen and Duck Cagle of of Jonesville; three brothers, Johnny Ray Franklin, Joe Franklin and Charles Franklin, all of Jonesville; three sisters, Mary Husbands of Harrisonburg, Muriel Charrier of Aimwell and Frankie Mae Mathis of Ferriday; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Craig Husbands, Jerry Carroll, Charlie Harris, Sherman Sharp, Reggie Whatley and Michael Weeks.
