B. A. (BEN) HALFORD

A retired farmer of Route 2, Louin, B. A. (Ben) Halford, 82, died Friday in a Newton hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, at the Palestine Baptist Church. The Revs. R. T. McKenzie and Lester Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Halford leaves: Six daughters, Mrs. Gilbert R. Ryans [sic Ryan], Alexandria, La.; Mrs. C. G. Brown, Millbrook, Ala.; Mrs. Herbert H. Ishee, Laurel; Mrs. John W. Brock, Route 2, Louin; Mrs. James A. Turner, Pasadena, Tex., and Mrs. Donald W. Hendrickson, Karney, Neb.;

Five sons, Gredell Halford, Billings, Mont.; Walter Lavon Halford, Rivertown, Utah; Leland Halford, Laurel; Houston Halford, Alexandria, La. and James A. Halford, Geneso, Kan.; 27 grandchildren; one great-grandchild;

Three brothers, Clark Halford, Louin; John Halford, Bozier [sic Bossier] City, La., and Grover Halford, Louin; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Phillips, Louin; Mrs. Ira Parks, Bay Springs and Mrs. Brooks Knotts, Louin.
