McGee Rites Held Wednesday

Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hassell and Foster Chapel in Athens for Benjamin Franklin McGee, 59, of Dallas.

Burial was in the Goodgame Cemetery with nephews as the pallbearers.

Mr. McGee was a brother of Bill and H. L. McGee, both of Trinidad.

He was found dead in bed at his home Monday morning.

A native of the Athens area, Mr. McGee had been a resident of Dallas for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Leon McGee of Arlington and Edward McGee of the Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio; nine brothers, Wylie, Ed, Jake, and Bob McGee, all of Athens, Bill and Pete of Trinidad, John McGee of Paducah, and George and Dave McGee, both of Dallas; five sisters, Mrs. J. D. Music and Mrs. Hubert Sealy, both of Athens, Mrs. C. D. Knight of Rainbow, Mrs. O. A. Hanna of Irving, Mrs. Minnie Lee Hanna of Terrell and five grandchildren.
