DERIDDER (Spl) -- Benjamin Franklin Terry, 81, died at his home near Smyrna at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The body is at Hixson's funeral home, where funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mr. Terry was a retired railroad engineer. He was a member of the First Baptist church of Mooringsport.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Thompson of Medicine Lodge, Kansas and Mrs. Elizabeth Gomes of Mills Valley, Calif.; and one son, Clyde Terry of Sugartown.
