B. W. Hawthorne

Benjamin Wade Hawthorne, 66, a carpenter, of Tullos, died at 4:20 a.m. today in an Alexandria hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nora Lee Corley Hawthorne of Tullos; one son, Orvey S. Hawthorne of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. John R. Davis of Jena, Mrs. T. A. Solis of Shreveport and Mrs. Stewart Rabb of Ruston; one brother, Robert O. B. Hawthorne of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Ethel McWhorter of McKinney, Texas; ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from Hixson chapel with interment to be in Starks cemetery near Georgetown under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home.
