Bennie Arnold

MEADVILLE -- Services for Bennie Arnold, 68, of Meadville, were 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bude Church of God with the Rev. Timmie Whittington and the Rev. Lairah Murray officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Parker's Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Arnold, born March 8, 1919, in Oak Grove, La., was the son of Robert Stanley “Bob” Arnold and Ella Freeman Arnold. He was a retired farmer and cattleman and a member of the Bude Church of God.

Survivors include three brothers, Charlie Arnold of Jena, La., Jim Arnold and A.J. Arnold, both of Meadville; one sister, Birdie Corban of Meadville; nine nieces, 11 nephews and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers were Herbert Thornton Jr., Carroll James Cater, Wayne Campbell, Vernon Arnold, Lionel Woodyear and Rayford Touchstone. Honorary pallbearers were the male members of the Bude Church of God.
