Benny Ray Spradley
May 19th, 1945 - November 11th, 2011

Graveside services for Mr. Benny R. Spradley, 67 of Carthage, Texas will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Antioch Cemetery with Bro. Pete Williams officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be Monday morning from 10--11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Spradley passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Benny Ray Spradley was born May 19, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas. Benny was one of six children born to the marriage of Harry William and Carrie Lee Hightower Spradley. He was raised in Beaumont and attended Beaumont schools. Mr. Spradley loved to go fishing, play volleyball and baseball, and loved to entertain other with his great sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, bother; James Doyle Spradley and sister; Doris Ann Hightower.

Mr. Spradley is survived by his sisters, Jenny Francia and husband Tony of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Bobbie Jones of Kerrville; brother, Royce W. Spradley of Carthage; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
