NATCHITOCHES -- Services for Mrs. Birdie Lennig, 76, formerly of Ruston, will be held at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Kilpatrick's of Ruston.
Mrs. Lennig died Tuesday night at the Natchitoches Parish hospital from a short illness.
Mrs. Lennig was a nursery and kindergarten teacher at Trinity United Methodist Church for several years.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetary [sic Cemetery] in Ruston.
Survivors include one son, Joe Madden of Natchitoches, and two grandchildren.
