REV. BERENICE “NANA” RITCHEY

On August 7, 1999, REV. BERENICE “NANA” RITCHEY went home to be with Jesus. Rev. Ritchey was born on November 3, 1908 in Vandale, Arkansas. A former longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Nana had resided in Missouri City for the past 20 years. She was an ordained Assemblies of God Minister, and retired from the U.S. Navy as a purchasing agent. She fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith.

Her survivors include her two daughters, Jo Ann Brasher and Jeannie Pruett and her husband Fred; grandchildren, Teri Pruett, Denise Pierle and husband Tom, Toni Ann Stewart, Jay Pruett and wife Renee, and Lisa Pruett; six great grandchildren, Jenni, Chris, Andy, Pruett, Murphy and Kelly; and family friend, Lisa Kimbro.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, August 8, 1999 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road at Dairy Ashford.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Monday, August 9, 1999, in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home with the Rev. J.W. Nash and the Rev. Paul Prentice officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Well done thy good and faithful servant.
