DEVILLE -- Services for Bernice Beran Wilson will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Pellettieri officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros., Alexandria.
Mrs. Wilson, 70, of Deville died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, in her residence.
She was a native of Monroe and a volunteer for Council on Aging. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and Deville Senior Citizens Group and a participant and aide at Friendship House, Alexandria.
Survivors include two sons, Sammie Beran of Call, Texas, and Gordon Beran of Deville; two daughters, Barbara Linkey of Alta Loma, Texas, and Theresa Sanders of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Jessie Savell of Colton, Calif., and Las Savell of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Joyce Strickland of Memphis, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Friday in the funeral home until shortly before time of services in the church.
A wake will be at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
