Bernice “Coopie” Baum White
August 7, 1924 - July 9, 2017

Funeral services for Bernice “Coopie” Baum White, 92, of Baskin will be at 2 pm Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Baskin Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Rogers and Rev. Marion Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Coax Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 - 8pm Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born August 7, 1924, in Winnsboro to the union of Charles Leon Sisk and Myrtis L. Hilton Sisk, and passed from this life on July 9, 2017 at Plantation Manor Nursing Center in Winnsboro.

Mrs. White was a member of Baskin Baptist Church. Mrs. White had many hobbies and talents including: creating floral arrangements for her church and other celebrations, seamstress for many, as well as spending many years as a home interior consultant.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Herbert Baum and John White; daughter, Dorothy Phillips and husband Billy Joe; son, Roger Baum; two brothers: Charles and Bill Sisk.

Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie Eubanks and husband Tim of Baskin; five grandchildren: Larry Phillips and wife Susan of Monroe, Angie Thompson and husband Dave of Farmerville, Keith Phillips and wife Vickie of Baskin, Tonya Hiesler and husband Geoff of Granite Shoals, TX, and Brandi Sisk and husband Jason of Swartz; one sister Bobbie Richardson and husband Cleveland of Dallas; stepson Billy White and wife Connie of Waynesboro, MS; stepdaughter Patsy Creel of Joyce, LA; great grandchildren: Ryan Kimball, Landen Kimball, Natalie Sisk, Katelyn Sisk, Chelsey Phillips, B. J. Phillips, Kylie Berry, Logan Phillips, and Haley Williams; great-great grandchildren: NeLee Kimball, Joey Kimball and Thomas Ray Williams.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Larry Phillips, Keith Phillips, Ryan Kimball, B. J. Phillips, Logan Phillips, and Landen Kimball.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Thompson, Jason Sisk, Cole Williams, and Geoff Hiesler.
